Mrs. Annie Viola Massey Stutts, 106, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Sheridan of Navasota. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Park Cemetery in Madisonville. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Annie was born in Pryor, OK, on June 10, 1906, the daughter of Roscoe Clinton and Mary Jane Davis Massey. She married William Roy Stutts in 1930, who was a clerk for the Missouri Pacific RR in Baytown, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Stutts; son, Marlin Reid Stutts; four brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Stutts is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert William Stutts of Weimar, Donald Ray and Virginia Stutts of Plantersville and Ben Frank and Nelda Stutts of Navasota; grandchildren, Trudy and Robert Perry, Ernest Roy Stutts, Robert Cole and Monique Stutts, William Ray and Kinsey Stutts and great grandchildren, Chandler Lane Holley, Charlie Reid Stutts, Madison Nicole Stutts and Ryan Cole Stutts.
