Mrs. Annie Acosta Munoz

Annie “Quata” Munoz, 68, of Navasota, passed away Sunday, March 2nd at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 5th from 5:00-8:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 10:00am at the funeral home with the Rev. Henry Sanders officiating.
Annie was born in Navasota on June 27, 1945, to Jose & Adela (Aguilar) Acosta. She married Donaciano Munoz on September 19, 1971, and together they raised three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janie Tovar; and uncle, Nick Acosta.
Mrs. Munoz is survived by her husband Don of Navasota; sons, Chris Munoz and wife Mindy of Copperas Cove and J.R. and wife Valerie of San Diego, CA; daughter, Candy Diosdado and husband Marcus of Cypress; sisters, Yolanda Zaragoza and husband Earnest of Navasota and Pauline Cervantes and husband Domingo of Navasota; brother, Raymond Acosta and wife Paula of Navasota; aunt, Ruth Flores of Navasota; and grandchildren, Amari Grace Munoz, Adalynn Faith Munoz, Gunner Christopher Munoz, Isabella Grace Munoz, Alex Wilkes, Leigh Nicole Diosdado, and Jack Ryker Diosdado. She also leaves behind her favorite K-9 companion, Miranda.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Terry Erwin, Quentin Burns, Joel Orozco, Clay Condrey, Philip Stapp, Jeffrey Nobles, Luke Luedeker, and Alex Wilkes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
