Allen Lee Robinson, 75, of Navasota passed away December 16th at Scott & White Hospital in College Station.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 20th at 1:00pm at the Bedias Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Steinkuehler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Allen entered this world on February 11, 1938 to Raymond T. Robinson and Myrtle Bara (Abernathy) Robinson in Genoa, Texas.
At the age of 18 months, Allen survived a severe case of spinal-meningitis. He learned to walk again after eight years of paralysis. He was a humble and generous man with the unique ability to forgive quickly. He had a kind heart and a determined faithfulness to take care of his mother until her passing at the age of 93 years. We worked at many jobs in his life, one a sheep ranch in California for several years. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a gentle man with a creative imagination, constantly working on new ideas. He attended school in Bedias and Madisonville.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen and Don Rowlett of Leander, Nettie and Walt Harris of Powderly, and Andrea & Charles Jacoby of Navasota; brothers and sisters-in-law James and Phyllis Robinson of Madisonville and Sam and Deborah Robinson of Navasota .
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Andrew Robinson, Sandra Robinson and Willard Robinson.
