Mr. Adam "Ambu" Steve Busa, 69, of Plantersville, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011, at his home. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stoneham. A parish rosary will be recited beginning at 7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Saturday, November 5, at the church with the Rev. Ed Kucera officiating. Rite of committal will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Adam was born in Stoneham on May 13, 1942, the son of Joe and Annie (Lebeck) Busa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Floyd "Butch" Busa and Maxie Busa.
Mr. Busa is survived by his wife Lois of Plantersville; daughters, Linette Massey of Tomball, Dena Fake & husband Donald of Tomball, and Melanie Nowaski & husband Aaron of Waller; son, Steve Busa & wife Karen of Cypress; sisters, Margaret Hill & husband Lloyd of Hempstead, Frances Loukanis of Plantersville, and JoAnn Keyser & husband Willie of Plantersville; brothers, William "Billy" Busa & wife Joyce of Caldwell, James Busa of Stoneham, and John Busa & wife Kathy of New Caney; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryan Pavlock and Bernie Beard of Plantersville, Joe Busa and Shane Busa of Houston, Tony Massey of Waller, Wayne Smith of Tomball, Jerry Apostolo of Magnolia, and Will Keyser of Spring. Honorary pallbearers include Josh Fake, Brett Pavlock, Blaine Pavlock, Spencer Busa, and Jacob Nowaski.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to M.D. Anderson, 1515 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030.
