Mr. William E. Peacock, 76, of Navasota died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at the College Station Medical Center.
He was born on October 6, 1930, in Bartlett, Texas, son of Harley and Ardie Peacock.
Mr. Peacock was a truck driver and enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and hunting. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Madeley Chapel in Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Bill Armstrong of Millican United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Peacock is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tehama and James Storey of Navasota; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Linnie Peacock of Navasota; sister, Gloria Karkoska of Millican; brother, Clifton Peacock of Thorndale; grandchildren, Bryan Storey of College Station, Kathy Seaton of Bryan, Tricia Sebesta of Snook, and LeeAnn Peacock of Navasota; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, John, and Kimberly Wheeler, all of Snook and Hannah Seaton of Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Peacock; son, Kenneth Peacock; and grandson, Kenneth Storey.
