On September 13, 2011, John (Bob) Condon died peacefully at home in Lynn Grove, with his loved ones at his side. He was born in Putnam Connecticut in 1933. After serving 2 years in the Army, he worked as a chemist at Union Carbide, and then Exxon Chemicals in Linden, New Jersey & Houston, Texas. He was an active community member, serving as a member of the School Board, Scout leader and hospital volunteer. Enjoying nature, John loved camping, hiking, canoeing, bird watching and traveling.
John is survived by his wife Eleanor; his children, Joanne Terry and son Paul and his wife Vicky of Lynn Grove, Richard and his wife Tinda of Vero Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Nicholas Terry and his wife Mandy, Megan Condon, Eric Condon, Pattrick Tucker and his wife Gwen; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Erika.
